Hi, I’m Corinne! I’m a Nevada-certified Elementary Education (K–8) teacher with 7+ years of experience supporting K–5 learners in both classroom and online settings. I’m also a Master of Education in Special Education candidate.
I specialize in providing individualized support to help students close foundational gaps, catch up academically, and strengthen core skills in math, reading, and writing. I have 20+ years of experience tutoring students online and in person. Families most often need support with elementary math (Common Core, word problems, fractions, missing skills), phonics and reading comprehension, and homework help/study skills. I also have extensive experience supporting students with ADHD, autism, and other learning differences, and I bring ABA experience from both home and school settings. If your child has an IEP, I understand how to read, write, and implement IEPs, and I can align tutoring with goals, accommodations, and progress monitoring.
My tutoring style is warm, engaging, and tailored to each student. I focus on building positive relationships with students and their families, valuing your insights, ongoing communication, and teamwork. I’m a licensed K–8 educator and a Master of Education in Special Education candidate with 3+ years of special education teaching experience and 10+ years of experience supporting students with ADHD in the classroom and through in-home tutoring. I help students strengthen executive functioning skills, such as organization, planning, and follow-through, while building core academic skills. I prioritize leveraging strengths and interests and using evidence-based strategies, including clear routines, breaking tasks into manageable parts, and visual schedules, to keep students engaged and to help families generalize skills across environments.

I also develop and implement behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based practices and strategies to teach replacement skills, strengthen self-regulation, and increase academic engagement. I regularly differentiate curriculum and learning materials and provide appropriate accommodations and modifications so students can access grade-level content while closing foundational gaps.
