Hello! My name is Jade, and I graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Statistics. I have spent the past four years tutoring students in math, working with middle school, high school, and college learners across multiple levels. I have a strong foundation in pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus.

Over the years, I have helped many students improve their grades, and I am proud to have consistently received high ratings and positive feedback from those I’ve tutored. My tutoring approach is patient, flexible, and student-centered. I believe that building a strong rapport is just as important as mastering the material, because students should feel comfortable asking questions and expressing concerns without fear of judgment. I also recognize that there is always more than one way to solve a problem, and I take pride in offering alternative explanations and methods if the first approach doesn’t “click. To make math more relatable, I often use real-world scenarios to explain concepts, and I always strive to meet students where they are. Whether we need to start from the basics, strengthen skills in the middle, or refine advanced knowledge at the top, I adjust my teaching to match each student’s needs.
