Tutoring was a hobby I discovered while working in the hospital system. I discovered that so many of my co-workers were nursing students struggling to work and study. They required a little extra help to pull everything together and I would provide that help during our lunch hour in 1 to 1 sessions. I found teaching to be a passionate hobby and was instantly hooked! To see so many succeed while holding down full-time jobs gave another sense of purpose.
