My daughter has been working with Carolyn C for about 6 months now. We have been very impressed with the improvements she has made. Even more so by the customized care Carolyn has put into their tutoring session. She has tapped into some of our daughters interests and has brough those into her spelling lessons to make them more fun and exciting. She even custom designed a game they have been playing to help reinforce the lessons. We live quite some distance from Santa Fe so we do one lesson online and one in person. Carlolyn has been a breath of fresh air. After years of subpar teaching my daughter was not progressing in a dyslexia method that is proven to work. Carolyn had the idea to test her for a lower level and we found she never should’ve been moved on because it wasn’t taught with the necessary fidelity. She is now re-teaching my daughter what her school failed to and doing so with unending patience and understanding. She has also gone over and above to make sure we can get the most lessons in person week taking into consideration our budget and my daughters stamina to learn after school. I highly recommend Carolyn and look forward to her taking my daughter through the whole Wilson program.

Carolyn is an excellent and very patient tutor. English is my second language, so I’ve always struggled in pronouncing, reading, and making out vowel sounds for a very long time. I really like her teaching style and methods. She’s very good at what she teaches. She even goes the extra mile providing additional material for me to practice if I need additional help. She listens closely to what I say and corrects me wherever I make a mistake. I certainly recommend her to anyone who is seeking an excellent English tutor in learning fluent reading and spelling skills.
