I am crazy about kids of all ages! They are the most dynamic people I know. I am a Literacy Coach and Executive Functions support specialist, serving students in grades 3- college, having completed certification to support Neurodiversity from Landmark College. Neurodiversity includes ADHD, ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder), Dyslexia, and general learning disorders.

I was a classroom teacher for 20 years: English, Spanish, ESL, and Social Studies. I support Honors, AP, and IB English, History, and Spanish courses. My sessions are dynamic and fun, but effective because I customize a blend of reading and writing instruction best practices to meet any level of student.

My undergraduate degree is in English literature, and I studied more English at the graduate level during my teacher certification. Every year I take refresher courses on the best practices and methods: The Hochman Method by the Writing Revolution, Self Regulatory Strategy Development (SRSD) for writing, and Columbia University's Teacher's College Institutes for Reading and Writing Workshops.

I teach lifelong skills for time management, organization, and independent learning. My specialty is helping and inspiring reluctant readers and writers to become excellent and effective readers and writers.
