I’m a recent holder of an MFA in Creative Writing.
I’ve recently published an article on the MetroSource.com magazine, and had a personal essay shortlisted in the #MeToo Contest by Memoir Magazine. I’ve been a content writer for
OMGeekly.com and PopGeekly.com for over three years. I’m currently publishing weekly
content on my blog MyQueerShapedLife.com.
I have written in a variety of fields including: Japanese pop culture, Korean pop culture, music,
self-help, mental illness, recovery, social justice issues, social media personalities, celebrities,
online celebrities, book reviews, video games, video gaming culture, college life, listicles, and
more.

I have 10+ years of experience workshopping various genres, especially nonfiction. I specialize
in, but am not limited to, LGBTQIA+ themed content. If you need someone who is
knowledgeable about queer-based subject matters, I’m your person!

Completed at the University of New Mexico, my undergraduate experience included training
in humanities, alongside training in creative writing (more specifically nonfiction and fiction). It
also included nearly 30 credit hours of religious studies with a focus in Judaism. I was the
recipient of the Ronald E. McNair Scholarship.

I completed my master’s degree at Butler University. I am a two-year recipient of the
Teaching Fellows fellowship and the Efroymson Family Fund (a scholarship given to first year
students who show promise). Class experiences included pedagogy in teaching creative
writing.
