After obtaining my MBA at Thunderbird Global School in AZ in 1978, I obtained a management position with Neiman Marcus in Dallas, TX, and in 1980 enrolled in The Peace Corps in Asuncion, Paraguay, where I taught English to Spanish speakers. Following that, in 1982, I began an entrepreneurial business venture, Carlson Worldwide Resources, which still continues today and is home based. After obtaining my MBA at Thunderbird Global School in AZ in 1978, I obtained a management position with Neiman Marcus in Dallas, TX, and in 1980 enrolled in The Peace Corps in Asuncion, Paraguay, where I taught English to Spanish speakers. Following that, in 1982, I began an entrepreneurial business venture, Carlson Worldwide Resources, which still continues today and is home based. I traveled among 50 countries, marketing construction machinery and precious gemstone. Back in the USA, I located myself in Seattle, WA, in 1983 and my original home is Dallas, TX. From Seattle, I relocated again to Santa Fe, NM following the 11 years in WA. Santa Fe is the premiere location in the US.

Have been living in Santa Fe for over 16 years, interfacing with the local community, speaking highly proficient Spanish. The part-time arrangement suits me very well, as does the independent contractor status. Looking forward to beginning and succeeding at a fulfilling part-time Castilian Spanish teaching job to those seeking professional and conversational Spanish and for those desiring to speak English for non English speaking students.

The company I am presently launching involves everything mentioned.

Additionally, I have received an MBA and a BBA, further demonstrating my English proficiency, as both were earned at American universities. Finally, I have taught English to Paraguayan individuals during my Peace Corps service in Paraguay.

While pursuing a general business education at SMU, there was an emphasis on Marketing, including Intro. to Marketing, Global Marketing, Real Estate Marketing, and Salesmanship. My MBA studies are 3 tiered, including language, cultural studies, and Business. Within the Business category, Advanced Marketing, Import/Export Marketing, Entrepreneurial Business, including all the required Marketing applications and finally Statistics, rounded out my formal Marketing studies and the entirety of Marketing Live has included Individualized Sales Training, Retail Marketing, Marketing Distribution and Technology Marketing.

The mastery of reading was a complete necessity in college and graduate school. So, it quickly became a requirement for any kind of progress. Therefore, since I did obtain both, bachelors and masters degrees, then it is quite evident that masterful reading was the key, as putting forth concepts related to any class that were obtained through reading the accompanying textbooks and any other class materials.

Well, English is my native language and I do have an MBA from Thunderbird Global School, in AZ. Therefore, my having acquired an MBA and a BBA from SMU, in Dallas, TX indicates that I do speak, write, and read English proficiently. I have instructed students in Paraguay, to speak, read, and write English well, during my Peace Corps service there.

Writing

Writing itself happens to be my preferred venue for communicating and sharing ideas and making clear my point of view. For reasons of having to compose papers, essays, and other types of coursework, the outcome was a result of my successfully composing any one paper or project. In graduate school, an entire course was based on my presenting a convincing series of examples on the entire profession of salesmanship, from funeral homes to insurance companies in one paper, that served as the entire class project.
