Ciao! I’m Chiara, a native Italian from Sicily and a language enthusiast. My passion for teaching Italian comes from a deep love for my culture and the joy of helping others communicate authentically in my native tongue. I hold a high school diploma in foreign languages, speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish fluently, and earned a CELTA certificate from the University of Cambridge to teach English as a foreign language. I’m currently pursuing an Associate of Arts in Creative Writing in the United States..

I have over two years of experience teaching languages for adults in both classroom and online settings. My teaching style is highly communicative and student-centered: I encourage full immersion in Italian through speaking and listening practice, minimizing translation. I use methods like the Direct Method, Task-Based Learning, and Audio-Lingual approaches to build natural fluency and confidence. Every lesson is tailored to my students’ goals.

I believe language learning should feel alive and enjoyable, and I always adapt my lessons to reflect each learner’s interests: art, travel, or Italian cuisine!
