How can I help you improve your grades in the least amount of time? My tutoring strategy has been specifically developed for students with demanding extracurricular activities. I graduated from the University of Michigan with BS and MS degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences while playing on the varsity soccer team. At Michigan, I not only mastered subjects covering many facets of nuclear engineering, but also developed an understanding of how to get the best grade possible in a class with limited time available to study. I believe learning how to learn is just as important as becoming an expert in any subject. After our tutoring session, you will be better prepared to tackle the material and equipped with the tools to become a more efficient student.
I have experience tutoring/teaching at vastly different academic levels; I have tutoring experience teaching basic math to underprivileged middle school girls in Detroit, as well as engineering instructional aide experience teaching an upper-level undergraduate course at the University of Michigan covering special relativity, quantum mechanics, and nuclear physics. Currently, as a scientist at a national laboratory, I mentor younger staff and summer student interns. The combination of my current and prior experiences positions me exceptionally well to be your ideal tutor!
