I am a dedicated teacher with more than six years of experience teaching music and Spanish at different levels. This past school year, I worked at a Preparatory School as a Spanish 1 teacher. As a general music teacher, I created a children choir through the after school program and prepared some school performances with different grade levels.
My other teaching experiences are in Puerto Rico, my native country. I taught the general music course to 8th, 10th, and 12th graders. As a chorus teacher, I think vocal technique is very important. With this opportunity, I the high school choir, had the opportunity to produce a christian musical with the collaboration of the Art and Drama Teachers. Together with their students, they were in charge of the set designing and the acting respectively. The middle school choir was invited to participate in a local Spanish version production of A Christmas Carol.
In summary, I can describe myself as an honest and hard working teacher who will go the extra mile for the students and school. I put my heart in what I do, and will make sure that my students get the first quality education they deserve. I look forward to the opportunity of meeting with you and your interview team to further discuss this teaching position. Thank you for your consideration.
I am a fun eager to work with you with and succeed in your Spanish class.
