I have been teaching as an adjunct instructor of English at New Mexico State University for 17 semesters. I am also a journalist for the Sun News and Dolphins Sideline Report. I have published articles in sources like Innovation and Tech Today. However, my first and greatest passion is narrative fiction and my graduate degree is an MFA in Creative Writing. In addition to writing novels and short stories, I have written film and dramatic scripts. One of my plays was produced by the Las Cruces Community Theater and more are coming.
I am also a qualified guitar and Irish Winds instructor. I have a music degree from Santa Fe Univeristy of Art and Design where I studied guitar extensively. Additionally, I have performed hundreds of shows with multiple bands. I have provided one on one lessons for ten years.
I have extensive work, not only as a college English instructor at New Mexico State University and Dona Ana Community college. I have worked as a Writing Center consultant at both institutions. I have also worked as a proof reader and editor for many groups, including the U.S. Highway Division.
I am versatile an open to a wide range of student needs. Contact me and we can discuss your needs and whether or not I'm a good match to help you.
