I love tutoring because it gives students an opportunity to practice and refine their skills on an individual basis, which you don't always get in the classroom. Tutoring with me will be full of laughs, but also learning on both sides! I will learn just as much from you as you would from me!
I studied engineering and applied mathematics in college, and I think what makes math so difficult is trying to connect this material with things in your everyday life. In my classroom and when I tutor, I make sure that every piece of math we learn you are able to connect to things in your own world.
