Amazing tutor!
Christine, 26 lessons with SamiaMy child was struggling with a few concepts with AP Calculus AB, and has been so happy with Samia's lessons and teaching style. They tell me that Samia is exceptionally good at breaking down and explaining complex subjects in an easy-to-understand manner. As a parent, I also noticed that my child seems far more engaged with Samia than any other tutor - there's an enthusiastic back and forth. HE BEST IB math tutor: patient, effective, efficient
Our daughter worked with Samia for over a year for high school IB Math, and we honestly cannot say enough good things. Samia’s experience as a teacher was invaluable and sets her apart - Samia has taught the content previously that she tutors and has extensive knowledge of the IB math curriculum. Samia also has a gift for explaining difficult concepts in a way that makes them suddenly seem manageable. More than once, our daughter came away from a single session with a better understanding of the material than after an entire week in class. Even more importantly, our daughter noted Samia is incredibly encouraging and never makes a student feel judged for not understanding something right away. Samia was always on time, professional, and quick to respond through the Wyzant app. Whether helping with homework, preparing for tests, or reviewing material submitted ahead of time, every session was thoughtful and effective. With Samia’s help, our daughter not only built stronger math skills and achieved her performance goal in math, but also gained a huge boost in confidence and enjoyment in math. We are incredibly grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend Samia to anyone looking for an exceptional tutor!

Knowledgeable and takes time to explain difficult concepts
Samia can explain and helps her student practice difficult concepts and problems. She genuinely wants her students to learn and be proficient and fluent in the subject matter. My kid said she is the best calculus tutor he has had bc she knows the subject and is patient and creative in her teaching. Highly recommended.

The Best!
Samia is supremely knowledgeable and supportive. I realized in working with her how much I knew already, and she was great at teaching me concepts I had forgotten or hadn't understood when my teacher taught it. I worked with Samia on IB SL Math. I raised my grade in class and also felt well-prepared for the IB Math exams. Samia is amazing!

Flexible, efficient, and effective tutor
Samia booked sessions on incredibly short notice and was so flexible with my daughter's schedule. She was patient in working through calculus concepts, and excellent in talking through the WHY of each step. After just a couple of sessions, she already feels so much more confident. Excellent calculus tutor!

Great tutor
She tutored and helped me in IB Math HL and I am very happy with it. She asked for current math problems I am dealing with at school ahead of our meeting so she was prepared and we could have a very productive time. Thank you Samia for all your help!

Great Tutor
My student felt so much more comfortable after Samia's tutoring session. Samia was patient, knowledgeable and was prepared by reviewing my student's lesson in advance. I highly recommend Samia as a tutor.

5 Stars!!
Here's what my son had to say about being tutored by Samia in IB Math analysis SL: "After missing two days of class and having trouble learning from my math teacher, I was behind in math. Samia helped me learn several days' worth of material in one hour. In a constructive way in which mistakes were treated as learning experiences, I was finally able to grasp the concepts that eluded me."
