Along with basic (freshman level) college writing courses, I also teach Technical and Professional Writing, Intermediate Expository Writing, and Creative Writing.
In addition to my teaching experience, I also have relatively recent experience as a student at both UNM and CNM, having attended both schools in the past ten years. I understand what it's like to be a full-time student with a full-time job. As well, since I currently teach these courses at both school, I understand the requirements and expectations of instructors.
I work with adults, though I'm happy to help UNM or CNM-bound students get a jump on what to expect in college writing.
Prior to my current position, I spent 15 years in local corporate offices giving me real-world experience in professional writing and the use of Microsoft Office. I have good, people-friendly tutoring skills and will work to help you achieve your goals.
