I received my MA from the University of New Mexico. For the last 27 years I have been teaching special reading,language,life skills, and study skills programs for the Albuquerque Public Schools(grades K-12). In 1989 I organized one of the first job mentorship programs for mid and high school students in New Mexico, with the Veterans Medical Center acting as one of our major training sites.

Several years ago I was selected to participate in a 1 year Wilson Reading training program with the APS School district, and received my credentials to teach level 1/multisensory Wilson Reading Programs(K-adult). This training allowed me to provide multi- sensory reading and language instruction to struggling readers at a variety of grade and reading levels.
Presently I am instructing individuals and small groups in reading and language, utilizing multi-sensory language programs. I am looking forward to serving you or your struggling reader/writer. Dee W MA
