With a strong foundation as a National Board Certified Teacher (Special Needs) and an Educational Diagnostician, I specialize in helping students with ADHD develop the tools they need to focus, stay organized, and succeed academically. Dyslexia

As a National Board Certified Teacher in Special Needs and a practicing Educational Diagnostician, I have extensive experience working with students diagnosed with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. My background includes conducting diagnostic evaluations, creating individualized education plans, and implementing research-based reading interventions that target decoding, fluency, and comprehension. I am passionate about helping students with dyslexia develop the skills they need to become confident, independent readers. Through structured tutoring sessions, I provide explicit instruction, ongoing progress monitoring, and practical strategies that help students strengthen their reading abilities. Each session is customized to meet the learner’s needs, while also supporting their growth in the classroom.

Elementary (K-6th)

As a National Board Certified Teacher in Special Needs and a licensed Educational Diagnostician, I bring over eight years of combined classroom and diagnostic experience to support elementary learners. My background includes six years of teaching students in grades K–6 and two years conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify unique learning needs. I hold two master’s degrees and have worked with students with a range of exceptionalities, including specific learning disabilities, ADHD, dyslexia, and intellectual disabilities. My tutoring sessions are designed to meet each child where they are and provide individualized strategies that build confidence and foundational skills in reading, writing, and math. I believe in differentiating instruction to ensure every learner can access the curriculum and thrive. My experience teaching English as a Second Language began during my undergraduate years, when I taught English abroad in Austria. Since then, I have gained over six years of classroom experience and two years as an Educational Diagnostician, where I’ve supported multilingual learners with diverse language and learning needs. In my ESL/ESOL tutoring sessions, I focus on practical communication skills, vocabulary building, and reading comprehension strategies that help students succeed academically and socially. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s goals and proficiency level, ensuring steady progress in both spoken and written English. I also integrate cultural understanding and language confidence to make learning engaging and meaningful.
