As a CEO, Executive Producer, Producer, and Development Executive, I have had the opportunity to work with some great artists and filmmakers in Hollywood and in independent film. I developed and ran productions in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Albuquerque, Brisbane, Chicago, New York, Raleigh, South Florida and London. My expertise is in project management, the details of film development, and film finance. I have worked with Paramount Pictures, Lionsgate, and Warner Brothers. I have created projects for Amazon, Apple and Netflix. But the best part about being a film executive is making and maintaining great relationships. Seeing a film or series on screen has been one of the most exciting parts of my career.
My background includes series content as well. The new normal is developing long running series for streaming platforms or networks. Adding to feature films, I partnered in creating documentary, fictional and non-fictional series. It's exciting to teach everything from budgets and schedules to locations and casting. It's exciting to introduce students and upcoming filmmakers to the intricacies of how productions work. Having been on sets many times, both in film and television, and having created my own work as well, I love to encourage new students to find those avenues to get into the production business.
I have taught dozens of filmmakers how to get started. I am also creating a platform for how-to produce major productions, not just independent films. I would be excited to introduce upcoming filmmakers to my network.
