While I was studying for my Bachelor's degree, I also edited the work of other students and gave engineering tutoring sessions, as well as English tutoring sessions to fellow students.
Learning Arabic can be daunting, as it is a totally unfamiliar script and language to most English speakers. I am a patient, dedicated and experienced teacher, and I can assure that I will guide you through the first steps of learning the language, while slowly building your confidence in the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
I am a native Arabic speaker, having grown up and lived in Syria until 2016. When I left Syria, I went to Greece and was working with a number of different NGOs. I volunteered as a translator and cultural mediator, and was asked to give Arabic lessons to the other staff, who were mostly volunteers from native English speaking backgrounds. This began my journey with teaching Arabic, which I have continued to do with private students and online students for the past two years. I now have a number of students that I teach each week, mostly via Skype.
I am a fluent English speaker, who has the advantage of having learned the language from scratch myself. This means I have an exceptional grasp of the grammar, rules, and have had to find ways to make the language simpler and more easy to understand myself. When I was at university, I worked as an English tutor, tutoring my fellow students in English language, as well as editing and proofreading their coursework in English.
