Hello!
Some background about me: I got my PhD in physics in 2024, where I did some 1-on-1 tutoring for 1.5 years, and I was a discussion section Teaching Assistant for 2 semesters, and a laboratory Teaching Assistant for 3 semesters. I really enjoyed talking with students 1-on-1 there as well, and a few students regularly came and saw me outside of class hours for extra help with labwork and homework.
In undergrad, I worked in the student tutoring center for a couple of years, doing 1-on-1 appointments, helping with physics and math homework in ~1 hour appointments. I also organized some time outside of class for Classical Mechanics to help out the other students taking the class with me, because I seemed to understand the class better than most and I enjoyed helping them out.
For most of my undergrad, I was a double major in Physics and Music Composition, hence why I am also listed as a tutor for Music Theory.
