I am an experienced pre-k through 12 substitute teacher, employed by Source 4 Teachers since September 2013. I move the curriculum forward, actually teach rather than “baby sit." Hopefully, my last statements did not portray me as being too self-promoting. I am certified as a substitute with a bachelor’s degree and some MBA work. Although, I have a lifetime of experience teaching people to perform the most dangerous jobs on the planet both in the classroom and in the field. Also, have taught professionals in the financial services field.
I am a member of MENSA, which occurred in the last 4 years, as well as successfully testing and obtaining the most difficult of Investments (Securities) licenses with scores in the high eighties’ as well as nineties.
My specialty is problem students or students with problems. Using my personality, experience with people, I am able to motivate and keep their focus on what must be accomplished without being laborious. Further, I have found that students may have a good grasp of the subject matter but lack test taking skills, which I therefore address.
My hours are open to discussion, and I am available twelve months of the year.
