Hello My name is Lisa and I am most eager to offer help, encouragement and share lessons I have learned in order for you to strive and obtain your goals . As a mother of four children life has been a tutoring experience on steroids. I was an ESL teacher in California for many nationalities of children and those experiences showed lessons can indeed be learned from children too. I also gave piano lessons for many years and was the leader of a Girl Scout troop. I am a stickler for proper grammar and spelling. I have found that hard work and dedication are important in all facets of life. My major in high school was English and in college my major was Economics and Psychology.
I also worked for FEMA and taught / tutored senior citizens when 911 was implemented in Monroe, NJ. Sheltering in place was another aspect of the mentoring process and it was satisfying when the citizens truly understood the process.
I am truly looking forward to working together and sharing experiences along the way. Your success is my goal.
