I am an experienced paraprofessional with a degree in K–12 Education from Atlantic Cape Community College, where I earned a cumulative 3.98 GPA. During my time at ACCC, I was named to the President’s List twice, recognized as an EOF Scholar, and inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for academic excellence and leadership. I plan to continue my education by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English Education at Rutgers University.

In my professional role as a middle school paraprofessional, I work directly with students across a range of abilities, providing academic support in reading, writing, and core subject areas. I assist students with understanding assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction, and helping them build the skills needed to work more independently. I also collaborate closely with classroom teachers to ensure students receive consistent, targeted support aligned with individual learning goals.

Much of my experience involves one-on-one and small group instruction, which has allowed me to develop a patient, individualized tutoring approach. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than relying on memorization, while also prioritizing confidence-building and academic growth. My tutoring style is calm, supportive, and structured, with the goal of making learning feel clear, achievable, and meaningful for every student. Outside of my professional work, I am a mom to a crazy but kind and compassionate four-year-old, which has further strengthened my patience, adaptability, and understanding of children’s individual needs.
