Hi, I’m Samantha and I’m currently a senior at Oakwood University, graduating in May 2026. I’m a Biology major with a Music minor, and I’ve maintained a strong GPA while balancing a rigorous course load and leadership roles.

I believe the key to learning is personalization. Every student learns differently, so I focus on understanding how each student thinks and what they need in order to succeed. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to make sure they actually understand the material and feel more confident moving forward. I keep my sessions engaging, supportive, and easy to follow so learning feels less stressful and more manageable.

I have over two years of experience tutoring math, both independently and through Wyzant. I’ve worked with students to improve their performance, build strong study habits, and stay organized. I’ve also tutored STEM subjects in a school setting, helping younger students who needed extra support and reinforcement.

I’m patient, easy to work with, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my students succeed. I respond quickly and am always happy to answer questions or help outside of sessions when needed.
