Bio

I am an International Medical Graduate pursuing cardio-thoracic surgery residency. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Smolensk State Medical University with a Doctorate of Medicine. I finished my internship in India and then started studying for USMLE. I scored 254 and 256 in Step 1 and 2 CK respectively. I am right now working towards building a better CV for surgery residency.

I started tutoring early during med school where I would help fellow juniors to pass theirs tests/exams and realized I'm very good at this from the feedback I received from the juniors. I've been tutoring ever since.

I'm excellent at making students understand the concept rather than memorizing it. I help students figure out how to rule out options in multiple choice questions, help them strategize how to study for the board exams and excel in them. I have taught more than 100 students in various subjects including A&P, Pharmacology and Med-surge.

Detailed description and information on the topic

My test was on antivirals and HIV drug therapies and I had not given him an earlier notification to teach the material. It was a last minute crunch prep on which he gave detailed information pertinent to my test and the areas of drugs and MOA to focus on. This helped me do well on my test and I recommend him for further assistance, if anyone needs to do well on a test, he is a great help and reliable resource.
