I am a professional film, television, and stage actress with more than 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry and a lifetime member of The Actors Studio. My career includes five years as a contract player on All My Children, along with work on television series including Ugly Betty, Criminal Minds, Strong Medicine, How I Met Your Mother, Vegas, and Power, and films including Star Trek, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Starsky & Hutch, and Girl You Know It's True. My experience spans drama, comedy, sitcoms, film, television, and stage, giving me a broad understanding of the demands actors face across different genres and mediums.
As an acting coach, I work one-on-one with actors on audition preparation, monologues, scene study, script and character analysis, self-tapes, and on-camera technique. I have particular experience mentoring high school students as they prepare for competitive college theater programs and have coached students through the audition and admissions process, including students accepted to programs at Montclair State University and NYU Tisch. I have continued coaching students throughout their college years, helping them develop their craft as they grow from young students into working and emerging actors.
My approach goes beyond preparing a single audition. I believe young actors need honest guidance about both the craft and the realities of pursuing a professional career. I help students understand the business side of acting while developing the confidence and resilience needed to navigate auditions, rejection, and the inevitable ups and downs of the industry. My goal is to become a trusted mentor who helps each actor discover their individuality, strengthen their instincts, and build a healthy, sustainable relationship with their craft. I offer the kind of practical guidance and mentorship I wish I had received when I was beginning my own career.
