Hi and welcome to my profile. My name is Keri and I am Rutgers University graduate (BA in Communications with an English minor). I a currently employed as a substitute, with a valid license, in the state of New Jersey. I have experience working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade. I’ve also worked with students who have various special needs and learning disabilities.

My tutoring experience began while I was still in undergrad, where I was a tutor for the writing center at Rutgers. Since graduating in 2017 I’ve worked in a variety of fields, and landed back in education. As someone who was privileged enough to have excellent teachers and professors throughout my entire academic career, I know the impact a positive learning environment has on a child’s education.

I’m looking for the opportunity to help students advance in the various subjects needed to reach their academic goals. I’m flexible with hours, and am willing to work around a students schedule. In addition you can reach me easily and I do my best to be quick with my responses. Feel free to reach out to me about any questions or requests you may have!

I believe in making sure every student I tutor has the most personalize experience which will be the most effective for them as an individual. I’m very passionate about encouraging a love for learning and hope to give students the tools and skillset that will allow them to excel.
