Bio

I am a long-time resident of West Long Branch. I earned my BS in Accounting from Monmouth University, and a MS in Taxation from Seton Hall University. My background in the accounting profession is quite varied having worked in public accounting, government, and private industry. Throughout I have maintained a part-time CPA practice specializing in small business accounting and taxation.

I am a long-time resident of West Long Branch. I earned my BS in Accounting from Monmouth University, and a MS in Taxation from Seton Hall University. My background in the accounting profession is quite varied having worked in public accounting, government, and private industry. Throughout I have maintained a part-time CPA practice specializing in small business accounting and taxation.

I have years of experience with reputable firms including the pleasure of serving as an adjunct instructor of accounting at Brookdale Community College. I am currently an Adjunct Professor at Ocean County College teaching accounting courses.

I also have many years of teaching Quickbooks to clients as well as using the solution to run my own CPA practice.

I have a quiet, patient plain language approach to teaching using practical examples to which students can relate.

Sessions can take place in either my CPA office for a comfortable learning environment or at the student's location.

My preference is to work with first and second year college students. I will also work with high school students who are taking accounting or general business courses. I find that these are the students that I can help the most. I do this by presenting the principles in varying perspectives so that the student is able to apply logic that will help them through their course work and improve their grades. I try to make accounting fun for the student. We all tend to do better at things when we see it as fun rather than work.

I have 20+ years of teaching clients to use Quickbooks, including the set-up and implementation. For a period I was a Quickbooks professional advisor. Also, I have used Quickbooks in my own CPA practice for over twenty years.

I have 35 years of experience in taxation which includes preparation and consulting. This includes taxation for all entities, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts and estates. Also, I hold a Master's Degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University.

Frank was an absolute pleasure to work with. He truly did help me and helped me pass my accounting final. He was able to teach me lessons within an hour that I could not understand during my classes. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone. He even went out of his way to meet me closer to where I live which was very beneficial. Overall a great tutor!

Frank really helped my daughter understand the concepts in her college accounting class. He broke things down for her so she could understand.
