About Kalliopi

Bio

Hi, I'm Kalliopi and I specialize in History and Music tutoring for students of all ages. I have taught in several middle school and high school classrooms and have worked with all students to meet their individual goals and needs. I am a firm believer that students only have one chance at a substantial education and, for that reason, they must be given the opportunity to thrive and achieve to the best of their abilities.

I am a firm believer that students only have one chance at a substantial education and, for that reason, they must be given the opportunity to thrive and achieve to the best of their abilities.

In addition to the 4 years as a successful tutor of Social Studies, English, Math, and Greek, I have taught in a variety of well-regarded public schools. I am currently on track to receive professional certification as a secondary (5-12) teacher for New Jersey State. My teacher training is taking place at Seton Hall University, where I am focusing on Social Studies as well as working towards a minor in Women & Gender Studies.

Other than my experience and knowledge in history, I also have extensive experience in music as I have not only played in several Area and region Bands around NJ state. Furthermore, my experience in music, I currently am a piano teacher in the Northern NJ area.

Knowledgable & Patient

Kalliopi helped me with my history essay. In my college history course there are many things I don't understand but Kalliopi has managed to help me understand and remember and even made it more interesting. The best thing about Kalliopi's tutoring is that she knows exactly what the missing gap is that I need to know to fully understand something. She is by far THE BEST history tutor I've ever had and needs to become a history professor!
