I am a PhD-trained biochemist with a doctorate in Computational and Integrative Biology from Rutgers University. My academic training focuses on biochemistry, molecular biology, and biotechnology, and I have several years of experience teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. During my doctoral research, I developed a strong foundation in biological sciences while conducting interdisciplinary research involving molecular biology techniques, enzymology, and analytical methods. This combination of research and teaching experience allows me to explain complex biological concepts clearly while connecting theoretical principles with real scientific applications.

At Rutgers University, I served as a teaching assistant for General Biology and upper-level Biochemistry courses. I led review sessions, supported students during office hours, and helped them understand topics such as metabolism, enzyme kinetics, DNA replication, transcription, and molecular regulation. I also contributed to course development by designing quizzes and exam questions and grading assignments and laboratory reports. Earlier in my career, I taught Molecular Biology and Cell Biology courses and supervised laboratory sessions involving techniques such as PCR, cloning, ELISA, microbial culture, and recombinant protein expression.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes building conceptual understanding and confidence rather than memorization. I work with high school and college students studying biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pre-med coursework. I focus on clear explanations, visual learning, and structured problem-solving approaches that help students break down challenging topics step by step while developing the critical thinking skills needed for success in the life sciences.
