I am an experienced and passionate high school math educator with 5.5 years of teaching experience, including one full year of virtual instruction during the 2020–2021 school year. I hold a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and a standard K–12 math teaching certification. I'm qualified to teach from elementary through high school in an online setting.

My tutoring background includes supporting college students at NJIT in Pre-Calculus, College Algebra, Calculus I, II, III, and Differential Equations. I also provided free after-school tutoring in my second year of teaching, where I developed expertise with virtual teaching tools such as Zoom, savvas realize, google classroom, Khan Academy, and interactive whiteboards, engaging sources.

In the classroom, I taught Geometry, Algebra 1 & 2 (including Honors), and college-level math in independent learning formats. I’ve supported students through test prep for the NJSLA, SAT, ACT, and school-based benchmarks using platforms like Savvas, big ideas math, Khan Academy, and teacher-created resources. My students have consistently shown growth, earning high scores on SGOs across multiple math courses.

Instructionally, I use differentiated strategies (especially in my honors and gen ed classes) using, visual methods, and real-time feedback to ensure every student progresses. I regularly collaborated with instructional coaches, conducted student conferences, and facilitated peer-feedback activities to foster deeper understanding. I also led after-school support sessions to reinforce academic goals and build confidence.

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve prioritized student engagement, relationship-building, and continuous improvement—both for my students and in my own instructional practices. I’m reliable, student-centered, and deeply committed to helping learners succeed in math through clarity, confidence, and strong foundational understanding.
