I am a NYC public charter school Chemistry teacher with a strong academic foundation, holding both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Physics, with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. Over the past 14 years, I have taught and mentored hundreds of students in classroom and one-on-one settings, helping them build confidence and achieve academic success.
Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of mathematics and science courses, including Regents Chemistry, Regents Physics, Regents Algebra I & II, Geometry, and College Preparatory Physics. My experience working with students of diverse academic backgrounds has enabled me to adapt my teaching to different learning styles and help each student reach their full potential.
I believe that true learning comes from understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas. My teaching style focuses on simplifying challenging topics into clear, manageable steps using real-world examples, visual explanations, interactive problem-solving, and guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop the confidence to solve problems independently.
Whether you are preparing for a Regents exam, improving classroom performance, tackling challenging homework, or building a stronger foundation in math or science, I am here to provide support. I have successfully helped students strengthen their problem-solving skills, improve grades, and prepare for exams with greater confidence.
My goal is not only to help students earn higher scores but also to inspire them to enjoy learning and become independent, lifelong learners. I look forward to helping you succeed in Chemistry, Physics, Algebra I, or Geometry and making even the most challenging concepts easier to understand.
