Hi! I'm Aaron, a fourth-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I previously attended Temple University on a full-tuition academic scholarship. I offer USMLE Step 2 CK and shelf exam tutoring for students who want to strengthen their clinical foundations and become more confident solving questions independently. If an explanation makes sense after you read it, but you struggle to reach the answer yourself, that's exactly the gap we'll work on together.
During our sessions, we'll work through questions while you explain your thinking, allowing us to identify where you get stuck. We'll clarify underlying concepts, distinguish between similar diagnoses, and discuss why one test or treatment comes before another. I break complicated topics into manageable steps and encourage you to ask questions at any level. We'll then apply what you've learned to a related example so you can practice using the reasoning yourself.
Each session will end with a brief summary of key concepts, recurring mistakes to watch for, and specific study priorities. I can also help you organize UWorld and Anki around your needs and schedule, whether you're balancing studying with rotations or entering dedicated preparation. I offer additional support with Step 1 and preclinical subjects when gaps in physiology, pathology, or pharmacology make clinical questions harder to understand. My goal is to provide patient, practical support that helps you leave each session with a clearer understanding and a manageable next step.
