I’ve been tutoring students for the SAT for two years now. I was selected through college board to tutor students in a ten-week course. Since then, I have been tutoring in person and virtually during the summer months. All students have improved greatly. I scored a 1580 (790 English and 790 Math) on the SAT. I just completed my first year pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Lehigh University.
The way I improved my score from my initial 1260 on the PSAT relied mostly on understanding the test itself and the types of questions that might be asked. Being able to do this is just as important as understanding the material, so students will focus on test-taking and study techniques in addition to practicing the concepts covered.
