I was born in Tehran, Iran and attended schools in Tehran from Kindergarten to 9th grade in Farsi. I migrated to the U.S. at age 14. I am fluent in Farsi in reading, writing, and speaking. I have communicated in Farsi since birth with my parents and siblings, relatives, and friends. I read books and newspapers in Farsi routinely. Both my parents are Persians and therefore I am extremely fluid in the Farsi language.

I have tutored Farsi while in high school and also while attending Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas, and have done so to this day. I have my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a minor in mathematics. I am a 55 year old mother of two adult children who have learned Farsi from me. I have teaching experience in Farsi and the patience to teach this beautiful language to children and adults of all ages. I am willing to travel locally to teach and also would love to teach via an online video instrument.

I have many years of experience in teaching Farsi to my friends, their children, and my own children. I speak, write, and read Farsi on a daily basis. I have read, written, and spoken Farsi for the past 55 years.

Farsi is a beautiful language that can be learned very easily. I am an extremely patient tutor and would love to introduce you to this beautiful language... whether you are a novice or an intermediate Farsi student... or you may want to learn about your parents' language and culture. I am available to tutor you and am willing to work around your schedule.
