I have been tutoring my peers since I was in middle school and eventually started a tutoring "business" amongst the younger students in my neighborhood. In high school, I helped teach art classes and robotics programs for younger students. In college, I was a teaching assistant for several computer science and math courses where I graded assignments, taught labs, held office hours, and occasionally filled in for absent professors. Now, I am currently in the process of getting my teaching certification for both elementary and high school.
Math is my most experienced subject as it is usually the one my students need the most help with. I've helped with everything from elementary math to calculus. I got a 680 on the math SAT section when I took it in high school. Math is also a closely related subject to computer science, which is what both of my degrees are in.
