After graduating from a military base high school, I attended college in Louisiana and relocated to New Jersey to complete three degrees in Psychology, English, and Social Work while working full-time as an employee with the New Jersey Department...

I enrolled in college to become a School Psychologist in 1998; I eventually graduated from Kean University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. I worked as a High School transition counselor and coach for students with special needs. The work was rewarding and helping students define their strengths, deficits, and accomplishments prepared them to complete the college application process. Finally, I completed my graduate studies at Rutgers University, NJ. I am still working with students to help them achieve their goals as a mentor and consultant.
