Hi I'm Andrew, I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in History and Classics and also have a masters of Classical Languages from Boston College. I have been teaching Latin for the past 9 years, and am a fully certified teacher in both Latin and Social Studies in the state of New Jersey. I have lots of experience helping struggling students understand complicated material, and in customizing lessons to best fit the needs of the learner.
I have helped many struggling students over the years, and I think it's by far best to personalize the lessons you receive to build on your strengths, overcome weaknesses, and to help you achieve your goals, whatever they might be. Each student has a different goal in learning about a subject, and a different reason for seeking out a tutor, and I hope to use yours to create a personalized approach which matches what you are looking for. I have experience teaching all sorts of students, and all sorts of styles, and will use that to create a lesson that gets you where you want to be.
I am open to incorporating things, whether resources or approaches, that work for you. I welcome any suggestions you might have about how to make the lessons more valuable to better address your needs. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
