I’m Camryn, a certified teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Montclair State University and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from The College of New Jersey. I hold K–6 Elementary Education and K–12 Special Education certifications and am currently completing coursework toward a Grades 5–8 Middle School Mathematics certification. My background has provided me with strong content knowledge as well as effective strategies to support a wide range of learners.
I have four years of professional teaching experience, including three years in a middle school setting and one year in elementary education. I currently teach special education mathematics for grades 6–8 in Princeton, New Jersey. I have experience teaching Algebra 1 as well as sixth and seventh grade math. In my teaching, I focus on differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs and use targeted supports to help students build understanding and confidence in math.
In addition to my classroom experience, I have one year of tutoring experience working with students in grades K–8 in one-on-one settings. I also support students in developing organization, note-taking, test-taking, and executive functioning skills that contribute to overall academic success. My approach is structured and supportive, helping students strengthen their skills and work toward their academic goals.
