I am a tutor with a strong passion for helping students build confidence and truly understand the subjects they are learning. I hold an MBA (STEM concentration in Analytics) from Montclair State University, and my academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in business, mathematics, and data-driven problem solving. Over the years, I have worked with high school and college students in both formal and informal settings, supporting them in subjects such as algebra, economics, finance, and Excel. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring, academic mentoring, and guiding students through assignments, exam preparation, and concept review.

In my tutoring sessions, I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear steps that students can follow and apply independently. I believe that true learning happens when students understand the “why” behind a concept, not just how to arrive at the correct answer. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and preferred approach, whether that involves visual explanations, step-by-step problem solving, or real-world examples. Many of the students I have worked with initially struggled with confidence, so I prioritize creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

In addition to my academic experience, I have worked with diverse groups of learners, including students from underserved and remote communities. This has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, remain patient, and meet students where they are in their learning journey. What sets me apart as a tutor is my combination of business expertise and mathematical reasoning, along with a genuine commitment to helping students succeed beyond a single assignment or test. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but to equip them with the skills and confidence they need to excel long term.
