Hi there! I’m Fredy, thanks for stopping by.
If you’re looking for someone who can help make sense of programming, computer science, or math without making your head spin, I’m your guy. I’ve been working in the IT and education space for over 10 years, and during that time I’ve had the chance to teach, mentor, and support students of all ages, from curious high schoolers to college students and adult learners looking to upskill. I’ve got both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer Science from St Peter’s University, and most recently, I taught at Caldwell University, where I helped students tackle everything from basic computing to advanced programming concepts.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with high school students preparing for AP exams, undergrads tackling challenging CS and math courses, and adult learners transitioning into tech careers. My tutoring experience includes subjects like R for data analysis, C++ and Python for software development, and core topics in computer science such as algorithms, data structures, and systems design. On the math side, I regularly tutor calculus, discrete math, and statistics, including regression, probability, and hypothesis testing, and I always connect these concepts to real-world applications.
I totally get that not everyone loves math or coding right away. Maybe a concept just hasn’t clicked yet, or maybe you’ve had a rough experience in the classroom before, that’s okay. My approach is to meet you where you are, figure out your learning style, and build from there. I’ll break things down into manageable steps, go at your pace, and make sure you feel comfortable asking questions (no question is too small, I promise). Whether we’re working on a tricky problem set, reviewing for a big exam, or exploring how code works under the hood, I’ll be in your corner every step of the way. I’ll bring the knowledge and patience, you bring your questions and curiosity.
If any of this sounds like a good fit, feel free to reach out.
