Hi, I'm Brianne! I graduated summa cum laude from Rider University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and English. In college, I was named an Andrew J. Rider scholar three years in a row. I am a certified teacher with over a decade of experience working with students ranging from preschool to 6th grade across all content areas (math, ELA, science, social studies) in different settings.
Whether I am working with one student or a class of twenty-five, I have always been passionate in my commitment to form meaningful connections in order to provide the most powerful instruction possible. While it is important to focus on academics, I strive to educate the whole child, encouraging students to become flexible thinkers and see mistakes as learning opportunities rather than deficits.
In all of my years as an educator, I have never taught the same exact lesson twice. I get to know my students' interests, learning preferences, strengths, and goals in order to provide customized instruction for each and every session. I will also communicate with families on a regular basis in order to discuss what is being worked on, as well as next steps.
