Hello! My name is Sam. I am an alumni and student at The University of Pennsylvania studying Pre-health sciences before entering medical school. I have Certifications of Achievement from Harvard Medical School in Biochemistry, Genetics, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Immunology. In addition to my Bachelor's Degree in Physical Life and Sciences from Penn, I hold certifications in Science Foundations, Neuroscience, and Climate Change. I hold an Associate's of Arts and Sciences: Psychology Option from Rowan College of South Jersey. I have been tutoring for several years with incredible students with disabilities (and amazing students without disabilities). I tutor kindergarten to adults in a plethora of subjects. I love working with students to reach their potential and be a small part in making their ambitions more accessible and achievable. I believe every student has the ability to shine and meet their goals when given the resources, a supportive and enriching learning environment, and a support team that bolsters confidence and engagement.
Outside of my academic endeavors and teaching, I am a published author (under a pseudonym), and I coached my local high school's Brain Bee Team. I shadow and volunteer in various health systems, including Cooper Healthcare and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
I look forward to meeting my new students and seeing them obtain their goals. I hope to talk soon.
