Hi there! My name is Lauren and I have been successfully teaching in elementary education for the last 20 years. I have taught grades 2 - 6, with the last 10 years dedicated to 5th grade language arts.
My undergraduate degree is in elementary education, with a minor in theater arts. I also received my master's degree in reading curriculum and instruction.
I have a passion for using novels as a tool to teach reading, and I specialize in phonics-based instruction and spelling.
