I have owned my own business for 27 years, tutoring technology to older adults. I've had to use my skills with vocal training in speaking with this particular age group, taking into consideration the volume, speed and overall effectiveness of my communication.

In 2023, I began a second business helping people learn to speak clearly for social and professional situations. Many of my clients have been non-native English speakers with the intent on reducing their accent. I have my certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have also assisted clients with the naturalization interview.

My method of coaching is very relaxed, focusing on building skills as a clear speaker with back and forth conversation in a friendly and patient environment.

As a professional singer who’s been studying voice for many years, I am very interested in enunciation, phonetics and proper volume usage in conversational and professional English. I have over 10 years of vocal training including 3 years with voice lessons by a British English speaking instructor. I find that practice and repetition is the way to perfection!

Great teacher

Even though it's been nearly 2 years since I worked with Tara, I still remember that she was a great tutor. She showed me a lot of Photoshop shortcuts and tips. I would definitely return to her for more tutoring if I needed it.
