I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I graduated with a 3.6 GPA, and I am currently completing a Master of Science in Applied Medical Sciences at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, where I have worked through the full preclinical medical curriculum. My academic background spans biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and medical sciences at both the undergraduate and graduate level, giving me a strong foundation across the sciences that I am passionate about making accessible to students at all levels.

My tutoring experience includes working as a Center Assistant at Kumon as well as private one-on-one tutoring, where I helped students ranging from middle school through college level strengthen their understanding of core science and math concepts. I focus on building genuine comprehension rather than memorization — I find that students learn best when they understand the "why" behind a concept, not just the "what." I adapt my approach to each student, whether that means breaking a concept down from first principles, working through practice problems together, or connecting abstract ideas to real-world examples that make them click.

In addition to my tutoring background, I have professional experience as a medical scribe at RWJBarnabas Health and CityMD, where I worked directly alongside physicians documenting patient encounters in real time. This experience deepened my applied knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine — knowledge I bring directly into sessions with students preparing for pre-med coursework, the MCAT, or upper-level biology and health sciences classes. I am comfortable working with high school students, undergraduates, and post-bacc students across biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and general science subjects.
