With 38 years of experience inspiring students in the world of chemistry, I have dedicated my career to making science meaningful, engaging, and accessible to learners of all levels. For 37 years, I taught high school chemistry—from introductory through Advanced Placement—cultivating curiosity, confidence, and a deep appreciation for scientific inquiry. In addition to my extensive high school experience, I have spent the past five years teaching College Chemistry I and II, both online and in person, and have provided personalized chemistry tutoring for 38 years. My background also includes two years of homeschool instruction, further broadening my understanding of diverse learning styles and individualized approaches. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master of Education in Chemistry Education, along with a Comprehensive K–12 Science Teaching Certificate and online teaching certification. My teaching philosophy blends hands-on experimentation, real-world applications, and technology-enhanced learning to create dynamic and rigorous educational experiences. Whether in the classroom or online, my goal is to ignite curiosity, build confidence, and help every student see the beauty and relevance of chemistry in the world around them.
