I am a CPA by profession, I have many students that I am presently tutoring for FAR & REG (Core) as well as BAR & TAX (Discipline). I use my own proprietary instruction to maintain a 95% pass rate. I do not follow along with you using any subscription service (becker, gleim, rogers, surgent, etc). If you use any, that is fine, you can do so along with what we review.

I don’t think I could’ve passed FAR without Jerry. I had failed it twice, but passed REG, AUD, and ISC. I felt very nervous and insecure about the idea of failing FAR for a 3rd time. I felt so stuck and didn’t know what to do. I had been using Becker and had put a total of 300 hours studying and had still failed twice. I had determined that it was the concepts I was struggling with. More time with Becker MCQs, SIMs, and pneumonics wasn’t going to help me, I needed to make an effort to really learn and understand the underlying concepts of bonds, leases, EPS, consolidations, etc., to pass FAR. I did 10 sessions with Jerry and his curated problems and passed FAR on my 3rd try. He was responsive to my messages, made time during sessions to answer my questions, and most importantly, was able to calm me down when I got frustrated and frazzled with concepts I didn’t understand. After my sessions with Jerry I am proud to say I passed FAR. He helped me build my confidence going into the exam, and now I can proudly say I am even better at my job because of my understanding of the underlying accounting concepts. If you are also feeling stuck, I cannot recommend doing a few (even 2 or 3!) sessions with Jerry. Best money I have spent. It is an investment in your future.

Jerry was clear and concise in his explanations on taxation in our first lesson!
