I have several years of experience teaching and tutoring math and physics, mostly to high school and college students. I have taught and tutored students in courses including in Calculus I, II, and III, Differential Equations, Probability & Statistics, Linear Algebra, Physics, and Advanced Calculus.

I've tutored the ACT many times. In fact it's a big part of how I make my living. I have taught the primary math subjects covered on the ACT: Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus many times. I also tutor the Science portion of the test. I know these two sections inside and out!

I was an actuary for about 7 years. I have passed the first 4 exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society. I also have a Master's degree in mathematics. I can tutor in any one of the preliminary actuarial exams of the SOA or the CAS.

I have been programming in Java for a few years now. I am very interested primarily in algorithms and data structures as they are VERY mathematical in nature. I love computer science and am currently taking courses in more advanced computational techniques. I am willing to do a first lesson for free, given my background is mostly in math. I worked as an actuary for seven years. Actuaries use probability and statistics to help keep insurance companies in business by charging the correct rates for insurance. I have passed four of the Casualty Actuarial Society exams which rely heavily on probability and statistics and are extremely difficult. I have tutored in both probability and statistics before and have also taught these topics at a community college many times.

I had been struggling with my college calculus course, but he was able to help me understand and prepare for my exam. Konstantinos explains the material in a way that is interesting and engaging.
