Math and Science are my passion especially physics. My goal as an educator is to motivate and instill an appreciation for the subject matter. For math and science there is an approach which is needed in order to solve problems, especially physics. My job is to assist in problem solving using mathematical and theoretical aspects as guide so simple and complex problems can be solved in a systematic way.

I have a M.S. degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics, a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in aerospace. Before tutoring full time, I was a Teacher’s Assistant and tutor at Raritan Valley Community College for about two years.

Calculus

Calculus

Covers all topics in Calculus I and II as well as vector Calculus (Calculus III).
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

As graduate with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering, I have knowledge and have taken the following subjects required for Mechanical Engineering: Statics, Dynamics, Propulsion, Strength and Materials, Elementary Machine Design, Numerical Analysis and Fluid Mechanics. Though I don't deal directly with these subjects often, I often use the knowledge in my physics and calculus sessions as enrichment.
Physics

Physics

Covers theory and application of the kinematic and kinetic (dynamic) laws governing motion. Electromagnetism, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and modern physics (atomic, subatomic particles and relativity) are covered as well.
Algebra 1
Algebra 2
Prealgebra
Precalculus

Really strives for student comprehending and applying strategies

My son is usually a “C” student. Adrien was able to help him comprehend the strategies and break it down in a way that he could then apply it on his own. My son scored a 95 on his final and a grade of an “A” He feels really good about this. I hope this helps him learn better study strategies in alignment to how Adrien helped guide him. Thank you to a great tutor.
