Hi! I'm a Computer Science student at NJIT and I've been doing teaching and tutoring alongside my education for several years. I keep coming back to it as I find it incredibly satisfying to help someone finally understand a concept they've been struggling with. Previously, I worked as a Computer Science tutor at County College of Morris (where I earned my Associate's degree) and spent over two years teaching math and programming to K–12 students at a robotics center. Currently, I tutor a broad range of subjects across math and programming. I also do SAT prep, using the same techniques I used to score a 1570 and become a National Merit Commended Scholar.
Whenever I'm helping a student, my focus is on ensuring they truly understand the material. I work a problem through with a student until the underlying concept clicks, then step back so they can finish it on their own — my goal is for them to confidently handle the next problem without me. Through my experience teaching everyone from elementary schoolers to college peers, I've learned how to creatively explain ideas in different ways so I can adapt to anyone's ability level and learning style.
Whether you're studying for an exam, stuck on homework, or trying to build a stronger foundation, I'll tailor each session to your goals. If you're not sure whether I'm the right fit, reach out anyway. I'm always happy to talk through your situation!
